Plantation: 5 Goldfinches, Song Thrush (JH).

Today I was speaking to landscape management from coal mine company he said the area supposed to be Heathland he is going to get cattle to graze, to get the rushy grass down and bramble.  In my opinion the area is too wet for heathland - it is more like moorland compared to the Sherbrook Valley. The tussocky grass is good for Snipe, Jack Snipe, Short eared Owl at present I think the habitat is good like it is) (JH).
