| An adult and juvenile Dunlin
were present (PW). |
|
- 2nd
|
|
| 3 Dunlin, a Ringed Plover,
Redshank, 5+ Little Ringed Plovers and 2 Common Sandpipers
were noted (PW). |

|
| 4 Dunlin were present along
with 2 Ringed Plovers, a Common Sandpiper and 3+ Common Terns
(PW). |

| During the morning there were 2
Common Sandpipers, 3+ Little Ringed Plovers, 2 Cormorants and 48
Tufted Ducks (GE) and in the evening a Green Sandpiper and 5
Yellow-legged Gulls were present (JA). |
| At Stubbers Green there was an adult
Mediterranean Gull, 13 Yellow-legged Gulls, 70+
juvenile Lesser Black-backs, 8+ juvenile Herring Gulls, and 3 adult
intermedius Lesser Black-backs (PJ). |

| A Common Sandpiper, 4+ Little Ringed
Plovers and 3 Common Terns were seen (PW). |
| At Stubbers Green there were 9 (2
adult, 1 nr adult, 3 3cy, 2cy, 2 juvs) Yellow-legged Gulls
and a 2cy probable intermedius Lesser black-back with
blue ring and white VA7A (PJ). |

| A Little Egret was in Fly Bay
and at least 5 Little Ringed Plovers, a Common Sandpiper and 3
Common Terns were also present (PW, NS). |

| The Little Egret was still
along the stream in Fly Bay, 3 Yellow-legged Gulls, 3+ Common
Terns, a Redshank, 2 Common Sandpipers, 5+ Little Ringed
Plovers and 2 Cormorants were also present (GE). |

| At Stubbers Green there were 11 (4
adult, 4cy, 3 3cy, 2cy, 2 juvs) Yellow-legged Gulls and 3
intermedius Lesser Black-backs one being a Norwegian
ringed J4H9 and VA7A was another probable Danish
intermedius (PJ). |

| The Little Egret was present (PW). |
|
- 11th
|
|
| The Little Egret spent most of
the day along the stream in Fly Bay. 4 Dunlin, 2 Ringed
Plovers, 20 Lapwings, an adult intermedius Lesser
Black-back, a Shoveler, 6 Common Terns, a Willow Tit were
also present (PW, GE) and 4 Grasshopper Warblers were reeling on the
North Shore Heath during the evening (IW). |
| At Stubbers Green there were 6 (3
adults, 4cy, 3cy, juv) Yellow-legged Gulls and a juv
Black-tailed Godwit (PJ). |

| At Stubbers Green there were 4
(adult, 4cy, 3cy, 2cy) Yellow-legged Gulls, intermedius
Lesser Black-back J4H9 and the Black-tailed Godwit (PJ). |

| An adult Little Stint and
Ringed Plover were present (PW, GE, JT, VT). |

| The Little Egret now appears
to have flown down to Clayhqanger (per CM). |
| At Stubbers Green there were 8 (3
adults, 4cy, 2 3cy, 1cy) Yellow-legged Gulls, 3+
intermedius Lesser Black-backs including JP09, the
third consecutive year it has been recorded here. The
Black-tailed Godwit was also present (PJ). |

| A Curlew and 3 Ringed
Plovers were present (PW). |
| At Stubbers Green there were 3 (2
adults, 4cy) Yellow-legged Gulls, a juvenile Common Gull
and the Black-tailed Godwit (PJ). |

|
| 3 Yellow-legged Gulls, a
Curlew and 4 Teal were present (JA). |
|
- 16th
|
|
| The Little Egret has
reappeared, 3 Greenshanks were present along with a Curlew,
Common Sandpiper, 4+ Common Terns, a Wheatear and at least 3
Little Ringed Plovers. A juvenile Cuckoo was being fed by
Meadow Pipits near the Norton Lakeside station (PW). |
| At Stubbers Green there were 7 (4
adults, 2 2cy, 1cy) Yellow-legged Gulls, 10+
intermedius Lesser Black-backs including JP09 and
a 3cy J4H9. A Black-tailed Godwit,
Curlew and Hobby were also present (PJ). |

|
| At the Group Meeting the following
were seen: Little Egret, 3 Greenshanks, 10 Little
Ringed Plovers, 2 Ringed Plovers, a Common Sandpiper, 70
Lapwings and 7 Common Terns. Over 700 large gulls appeared to be
roosting including 4+ Yellow-legged Gulls and several hundred
Black-headed Gulls were also present. Several Round-leaved
Wintergreens were in flower (PW, NS, IW, GE et al). |
| At Stubbers Green there were 5 (3
adults, 4cy, 3cy) Yellow-legged Gulls and 10+
intermedius Lesser Black-backs (PJ). |

| At Stubbers Green there were 4 (3
adults, 4cy) Yellow-legged Gulls, 10+
intermedius Lesser Black-backs and an adult argentatus
Herring Gull. The juvenile Black-tailed Godwit and a
Peregrine were also present (PJ). |

| At Stubbers Green there were 5 (3
adult, 4cy, 2cy) Yellow-legged Gulls,
an adult argentatus Herring Gull and 15+
intermedius Lesser Black-backs including an adult JH49
(PJ). |

| At Stubbers Green there were 2
(adult, 4cy) Yellow-legged Gulls, an adult argentatus
Herring Gull, 15+ intermedius Lesser Black-backs
including JP09. A juvenile Shelduck and a Common Sandpiper
were also present (PJ). |

| The Little Egret was present
along with 6-8 Dunlin, 4 Ringed Plovers, 3 Little
Ringed Plovers, a Curlew, 2 Common Sandpipers, a Snipe,
100 Lapwings, 3 Common Terns, a Cormorant, 116 Tufted Ducks, a
Pochard, 2 Teal, 7 Little Grebes and a Swift (GE). |

| On Cuckoo Bank there were 2 Snipe and
a Tawny Owl posed beautifully for the camera (NS). |

|
| At dusk the Little Egret and
Curlew were present along with 3 Swifts, 1000+ Lesser
Black-backed Gulls, 3+ Herring Gulls and a 2cy Yellow-legged Gull.
On the Swag there were 12 Little Grebes and 2 Gadwall (GE). |

| At Stubbers Green there were 5 (2
adults, 4cy, 2cy, 1cy) Yellow-legged Gulls, 5+
intermedius Lesser Black-backs and a 3cy bird YK86
possibly of Icelandic origin (PJ). |

|
| The regular Little Egret was
briefly joined by another, the Curlew was still present along
with an adult Yellow-legged Gull, a Greenshank, Common
Sandpiper, 108 Lapwings, 49 Mute Swans, 2 Greylag Geese, 190 Canada
Geese, 87 Tufted Ducks, 2 Gadwall, a Cormorant, 4+ Herons, 21 Great
Crested Grebes, 11 Little Grebes, 401 Coot, 8 Moorhens, 4 Common
Terns, 4 Buzzards, a Peregrine, Sparrowhawk, 3 Swifts,
a Wheatear, 2 Green Woodpeckers, Great Spotted Woodpecker, 60
Linnets and 15 Goldfinches (GE). |

| An adult Yellow-legged Gull,
juvenile Common Gull, a Green Sandpiper, 4 Snipe and 3
Common Terns were noted during a short respite from the rain (GE). |
| At Stubbers Green there were 3
Yellow-legged Gulls, an adult argentatus Herring
Gull, 5+ intermedius Lesser Black-backs, including
JP09, and a Little Egret (PJ). |

| The Curlew was still present
along with a Greenshank, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, a
Common Sandpiper, 1-2 Wheatears, 30 Goldfinches and 30
Linnets (GE, PW). |

| At 17:05 this evening an immature
Gannet flew north over Stubbers Green (PJ), it was then seen a
few minutes later over Clayhanger where it was seen to bank and head
south towards Stubbers again (CM) rather than making the 3 minute
flight to Chasewater where I was waiting for it (GE)! Also seen at
Stubbers Green were 3 Yellow-legged Gulls, an adult
argentatus Herring Gull and 5+ intermedius
Lesser Black-backs (PJ). |

| A Hobby, Common Sandpiper and
Cormorant were seen (PW). |

|
| At Stubbers Green there were 3 (2
adults, 3cy) Yellow-legged Gulls, 3
adult argentatus Herring Gulls and 7+
intermedius Lesser Black-backs including JH49. A
Swift and Peregrine were also seen (PJ). |

| |
| A Wheatear and Redstart
were seen on Cuckoo Bank (GR). |
|

31st
|
|
| The Little Egret was present
and a Painted Lady and 15 Small Heaths were in flight (EO). A
Swift was over the dam and 5 small waders, presumably Dunlin,
were seen at great range (GE). |
| On Cuckoo Bank
there was a Wheatear and a Hobby was feeding on
insects. Butterflies included 8 Common Blues, a Red Admiral,
Small Tortoiseshell and Small Copper and dragonflies included
4 Ruddy Darters, 5 Emperors, 2 Brown Hawkers and several Common
Darters (EO). |
| At Stubbers Green there were 4 (3
adults, 3cy) Yellow-legged Gulls, a probable adult
argentatus Herring Gull, 5+ intermedius Lesser
Black-backs, a Barnacle Goose, Green Sandpiper and a
Grey Wagtail (PJ). |
